About Sewa Society

Our society i.e. Satya Education & Welfare Association (SEWA) is a social and cultural Non-Governmental and non-profit making organization has been working on the subjects of EDUCATION for children, livelihood for the youth, HEALTHCARE in rural villages and urban slums, woman empowerment and sensitization of the privileged masses from more than last 5 years at Durga Block, Gali No.10, Jain Nagar, Village Karala, Delhi-110081.

 

SEWA underscores the fact that helping is not simply a matter of dispersing money but of making a deep, long-term commitment and casting a hard eye on results.

 

The HOLY MOTHER’S TOUCH is a SCHOOL run by a society called the SATYA EDUCATION & WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA). This Project founded by Sh. Kuldeep Raj, President of Society and its Members of Dr. V.K. Sharma, Ms. Sheetal, Sh. Chander Kumar, Sh. Manmohan, Sh. S.K. Sharma and Sh. Pawan Vij. The SATYA EDUCATION & WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SEWA) was established in 2009 with 2 students, in Jain Nagar, Village Karala in Delhi, India. The school is located in an eco-friendly environment.

So far our society embarked on several Program to organize Open Competitions for all children from time to time. Society has also organized FREE CLASSES of Personality Development, Mehandi, Judo Karate, Dance, Reading & Writing & Drawing & Painting etc. in Summer Camp for Youth, Women and Children.

 

Especially the elderly, such as Health Camp organized i.e. Dental Camps and Eye Camps in which the Doctors visited from AIIMS and other renowned Organizations.

 

As more and more people take part in the concert in programs i.e. in two times Eye Camp (above 200 & 250 persons), two times Dental Camp (above 250 persons & 400 persons), Summer Camps (around 250-300 persons in every year).

 

OUR MISSION & VISION

Our mission and vision of the school; To impart quality education to the poor, to enable poor students to excel even in places that the government has ignored. To educate the young people so as to help fulfil their hopes in life.  To help the voiceless, the countless poor and hapless children.  The need of the hour in the area is to set up school and give the children good education.  To make them aware that only education can bring a change in their lives. To create awareness that the present humming and shifting cultivation pollutes the environment and destroys the precious land and trees.  To bring all the children back to the mainstream of life and to give a good future to them, and to the society and the nation as a whole.   Many children in the area are not able to attend school as their parents cannot afford it.
